Cet ancien Hôtel Restaurant de la gare de Piégut entièrement rénové est idéalement situé juste à l'entrée de la ville. L'accueil de Kate est chaleureux et l'on se sent immédiatement chez soi. Tout fut juste parfait !

Hôte très agréable et arrangeant ! Logement agréable dans un environnement pittoresque. Petit village avec toutes commodités et un accueil chaleureux des habitants. Court séjour... Trop court 😉

We have just got home to the UK after a fabulous 10 day stay here and I can't recommend it enough. We actually had all three gites as it was a large family group (14 in total) and it was the prefect set up for a flawless trip. All of the gites were lovely and the grounds and pool were perfect. Kate and Julian are both lovely, they are always on hand and happy to help out with anything you might need. There are lots of lovely places to visit around the area and everyone in our group, from age 12 to 75, had a wonderful time!! I don't think we could have found anywhere better, thank you so much Kate and Julian 😀

We had a beautiful 5 night stay here! Our two boys loved the pool and the unit which was fully stocked with board games and DVDs. The grounds were gorgeous and the hospitality we experienced second to none. Thank you for the memory making stay!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Kate, la météo ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de profiter au maximum de tout ce qui est proposé dans le parc. En effet Kate met à disposition un peu partout sur la propriété des jeux en bois, des ballons, des raquettes, panier de basket, but de foot etc... ce qui permet de passer de bons moments en famille! Le parc est tout simplement magnifique et parfaitement entretenu. Le gîte est globalement bien équipé, et l'hôte met à disposition toutes les informations concernant les lieux à visiter dans la région. Un grand merci à Kate pour son accueil.

Kate and Julian are nice and considerate hosts who know the area and nice places to visit. They are very happy to help you out and reply quickly on questions. The gites are comfortable with all the basic supplies you need and the garden and pool are amazing. We stayed two weeks and still have left ourselves some nice places to visit. Don’t forget your walking shoes and block Wednesday for the mother of all France markets at or your very doorstep.
J'ai passé un super séjour chez Kate & Julian lors de mon premier voyage en Dordogne. Le gîte était impeccable, bien équipé et confortable. La propriété était charmante, avec une piscine et un grand terrain spacieux, idéal pour un agréable weekend en famille. Kate & Julian sont très réactifs et accueillants, même lors de notre arrivée tardive. Un grand merci à Kate & Julian pour leur hospitalité chaleureuse !

The welcome from the owner is very nice and very helpful. The accommodation is spacious, there were 10 of us. The rooms are spacious and the bedding comfortable. We did not miss anything in terms of appliances, crockery. The terrace is just very nice and the park just beautiful with a flowery and bucolic alley.
The only thing that can be bothersome is the TV that didn't work. It might bother some people. Personally, it didn't hurt us.
(Please note that the TV works well but the signal wasn't great, after this feedback and clarity we were able to fix it with a new antenna and it works great!)

Lovely gites situated in a great location within walking distance to the town. Kate was most helpful and let us know about local places and events in the area. Gites were well equipped and the pool/grounds were beautiful.

Gîte propre, agréable dans un village très sympathique avec un marché hebdomadaire très dynamique.
Draps et serviettes fournis, c'est toujours agréable.
La piscine est sympa avec divers jeux pour s'amuser.

We had a lovely week at the railway cottage. The location is perfect for discovering the surrounding area and there is the most perfect patisserie in town, within 5 mins walking. We visited St Esteph lake and the zip wires in Nontron. Wednesday’s market, right outside the house, was magic. Everything within walking distance. Kate was super organised with instructions and the gite was very clean and had all we needed.

Friendly welcome and good communication for our last minute booking. The gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the communal pool and grounds are lovely. In a great position , easy to walk into the town where there are restaurants, bar, cafe etc

We had a fantastic week in the Railway Cottage. Lots of space inside for all of us and the outside space was fantastic! We were impressed with the pool and the trampoline were well used by the children. Kate was very approachable and helpful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!
Een erg ruime, gezellige en comfortabele vakantiewoning. Het zwembad was groot en goed onderhouden én met kinderslot. Je kan hier onbeperkt gebruik van maken. We kregen een leuk ontvangst, goede rondleiding en er was een kleine verrassing bij de aankomst. Problemen bij de douche en airco werden direct aangepakt en snel opgelost. Zo hadden we perfecte airco en prima douche. Uitgebreide inboedel in de keuken. Handdoeken voor zwembad kan je gratis gebruik van maken. Heel hulpvaardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Goede, heerlijk zachte bedden. Diervriendelijk. Alle ruimtes worden goed afgeschermd door hekjes voor huisdier en kleine kindjes. Eten kan je binnen of op een terras in de schaduw. Zeer ruime koelkast én diepvries. Een echte aanrader voor deze streek.
In a village but in a place quiet enough that you feel in the middle of the countryside, is this gîte with an amazing pool and a comfy and well equipped house. Lovely hosts as well helps to make you enjoy your holidays even more. Yes you are in a gîte with potentially 2 other families or group of people next door but the space is done so you can have your privacy. We highly recommend !

Les chambres sont spacieuses, bonnes literies, il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place.
Le karting à moins de 10km est très sympas.

A notre arrivée une bouteille ainsi que des œufs de la ferme était offert ☺️

gîte sympa, avec un poêle à bois , collé a d'autres gîtes ce qui peut permettre de rassembler une famille,1 grand gîte et 2 plus petits....un inconvénient , on entent un peu les voisins...

We've enjoyed BBQ nights and the lovely food from the Piegut market, Nice place to ride your bike and run trails. It was really relaxing. Séjour agréable au vert
Nous avons passé trois nuits dans ce gîte en famille (9 pers). Kate nous accueilli chaleureusement et avec le sourire. Je la remercie pour les cadeaux de bienvenue ( aussi bien pour nous que pour nos amis a 4 pattes). J ai particulièrement apprécié la fraîcheur de la maison, les clôtures pour la sécurité des enfants et aussi pour notre chien, les espaces, la piscine malgré sa fraîcheur et la variété d équipement mis à disposition. Le centre de piegut et sa tour sont accessibles à pied. Je recommande chaleureusement ce gite.

Excellent, la maison, le jardin, notre appart en duplex, le Top!!! Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer Kate mais Julian était présent et attentionné tout au long de notre séjour, nous recommandons bien évidemment.
Lovely place to stay great for families. The pool area is fantastic. Plus there is field to play ball sports and a trampoline. For the Adults lovely loungers round the pool and a great market on Wednesday.
Perfect location, just a 2 minute walk into the local town that has everything you need. A short walk or 2 minute drive to the supermarket. Local market weekly that is huge. Fantastic hosts that will recommend places to go/eat if needed and advise on anything you need. Massive playing field and great sized swimming pool. Nice seating area outside to make use of the BBQ. If your looking to stay in a beautiful setting with BBQ, swimming pool, outdoor area, local shops, bars, restaurants, nice walks then look no further.
Vacances superbes dans le Périgord, le gîte convient à une famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Propre et bonnes literies. Nombreuses activités possibles dans un terrain immense et bien entretenu. La piscine est très grande et propre, dispose de nombreux bains de soleil et d'accessoires pour les enfants. Endroit très calme et les propriétaires sont tres sympas et discrets mais très reactifs à la moindre demande. Gîte plus que recommandable.
The gites at Kate and Julian’s place are absolutely superb. They are well appointed and really homely. The garden and pool area are a true haven and loads to do (or just relax and chill out!). The location is superb being in the edge of the village with a great range of the essentials and more (bakers, pubs, and AMAZING market).
